Queer Ecology After Dark - Myths, Mosses Monster and Myxxghxhgsgh at Chelsea Physic Garden
As a part of A Dash of Lavender: LGBTQ+ history month, Join us as we explore one of London’s most bewitching gardens by night, venturing through the lens of queer ecology. Led by artist-researcher Kirsty Badenoch, we’ll be blending science with folklore to shapeshift our way between the realms of humans, plants, mosses and mycelium.
As our eyes adjust to the darker and lesser known secrets of the natural world, we’ll uncover luminescent wonders visible only by night; frolic in the rarest fronds, and heighten our ultra-sensitivity to new ways of seeing, being and relating.
Wrap up warm, bring an open mind and a sense of adventure, and we’ll be ready to welcome you with luminescent torches, microscopes and merriment! This will be a special, intimate event. All genders, orientations and relations are welcome, suitable for ages 16 and above.

Tickets are £25 per person

When you arrive:
- Please have your ticket ready - printed or on your device - before you arrive.
- Entrance will be via 66 Royal Hospital Road.

Please note:
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must remain under close supervision as there is deep water and numerous poisonous plants.
Registered support dogs are welcome in the Garden, no other pets are allowed.
Unfortunately we cannot look after your luggage and we don't have any cloakroom facilities at the Garden.
There are a couple of council bike racks on Royal Hospital Road, unfortunately we do not have racks in the Garden due to lack of space and we can't look after your bicycle for you.
