Living Medicine: Self-Care Basics

This one-day workshop is the first of a five-part course to give you a grounding in self-care using foods and herbs. It will cover the basics of herbal therapeutics, identifying mint and other plant families, basic food self-care, remedy making, herb chewing, herbal tea, breakfast smoothie and herb crush.

This event will take place at the Garden and in our Learning Classroom space and will go ahead whatever the weather. You should dress appropriately for the Great British weather. Please bring your own apron if you wish. The fee for the day includes entrance to the Garden, lunch, handouts, and a remedy to take home.

When you arrive:
 - Please have your ticket ready - printed or on your device - before you arrive.
 - Please enter via our main entrance on 66 Royal Hospital Road. 

Your admission tickets will be emailed to you.

Please note:

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must remain under close supervision as there is deep water and numerous poisonous plants. 

Registered support dogs are welcome in the Garden, no other pets are allowed.

Unfortunately we cannot look after your luggage and we don't have any cloakroom facilities at the Garden. 

There are a couple of council bike racks on Royal Hospital Road, unfortunately we do not have racks in the Garden due to lack of space and we can't look after your bicycle for you.
